Our private hypnobirthing sessions are designed to support you and your birth partner with practical tools, emotional preparation and personalised guidance, all delivered in the comfort of your own home.

Jo, founder of Hibiscus Therapy, is a qualified clinical hypnotherapist and certified Hypnobirthing Instructor trained with The Calm Birth School (TCBS). She used hypnobirthing throughout her own pregnancies and births with her two children and found the techniques invaluable. Having explored many different methods, Jo chose TCBS for its realistic, inclusive and non-judgemental approach. Whether you birth your baby at home, in a birth centre or hospital, or opt for a natural birth or caesarean, hypnobirthing can help you prepare your mind and body for a positive and calm birth experience.

What to Expect

Private hypnobirthing sessions with Jo offer a deeper, more tailored experience than group classes or online courses. Over four two-hour sessions, you’ll explore the full hypnobirthing and antenatal course, including, practising techniques to help you feel prepared, confident, calm and connected with baby. You’ll also receive digital MP3 tracks, printable resources and practical tools to support your learning between sessions.

Each session is held in your home, where you feel most relaxed and safe - ideal for hypnobirthing preparation. Alternative venues may be available on request.
